The Business Analyst will be responsible for developing and executing the market insights reporting and analytics strategy for Sartorius Data Analytics. The position holder will design and deliver a Scorecard dashboard using multiple data sources (e.g. Market reports, Competitive Insights, Analyst reports, ERP, CRM) to create and present weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports and conduct ad hoc deep dives as required. The position holder will develop and own the market intelligence database and analytics function; provide analyses and support marketing to deliver results in executing the business strategy and meeting operational goals; be an analytics champion and team player and work collaboratively across different functional teams.
This role could be based in several countries in North Europe, either in home office or in any of our locations in Malmö or Göttingen.
Main Responsibilities & Tasks:
Develop and execute comprehensive plans for measuring the impact of new product launches, marketing campaigns, and other business initiatives
Develop and maintain monthly metrics dashboards for key performance indicators (KPIs) that can be used to track and analyze business and marketing metrics and hold teams accountable to goals and objectives
Develop and strategize new processes to derive insights from multiple data sources to support marketing analytics and reporting needs
Develop market intelligence database and system to gather qualitative & quantitative market intelligence from both internal and external sources
Develop strategies to spur growth and drive business using data analytics
Proactively review & assess performance metrics and suggest recommendations to identify high value opportunities
Maintain the most up-to-date knowledge of Biopharma industry trends, best practices and strategies and constantly striving to expand understanding of the metrics to drive growth
Create presentations for various management levels to share results, insights, business implications, and recommendations
Qualifications & Skills:
Advanced Degree in Business, Economics or Life Sciences, an MBA is a plus
5+ years relevant work experience in biotech/biopharma industry
Strong analytical, strategic skills, and data-driven thinking, with a proven ability to identify actionable strategic insights from data
